There’s nothing stuffy about this couple, married a mere 50 years! The family planned the big event in a beautiful park and picnic area, catered by the locally famous BBQ joint. Bella Carta Studio was asked to make it fun and enticing, communicating to guests the picnic concept. We were told that iconic red and white checkered tablecloths were to be used throughout the event design, so it seemed a perfect element to pull into the Save the Dates. With a nod to a bit more elegance, it was presented through the use of a checkered ribbon and envelope lining on the invitation itself. A hint of gold, for the golden anniversary, was used discriminatingly throughout the invitation suite. We even designed a custom 50th logo that was carried from soup to nuts, and stamps, too.
